‘WOW!! Fantastic, I have a 4yo TB gelding that developed a bad hock joint infection from a puncture wound. He was operated on and the joint scrapped and flushed in August 2012, confined to a box for 2 weeks. When first released from his box he was still bearing no weight on his leg but has improved slowly each day, but the lameness has never gone away. ‘I would like to share our experience as we are very happy with Technyflex Equine. Two years ago I purchased a horse from Vic for my Daughter as her next Eventer. Six months after purchasing him he had an accident in the stables and caused a lot of damage to his hind legs the worst of his injuries was a laceration down to the joint on his rear fetlock. After 3 operations, 3 months to the vet and 6 months off we still weren’t confident he would jump again. ‘I heard about Technyflex Equine from an elderly friend, who has been using the Greenlipped Mussel (Mobicosa) herself with great results. I have been purchasing Technyflex from this website for the past 6 months. The service is great- fast delivery, usually a few days only. Kinnordy Gambia doesn’t have the best looking knees on the property as the result of an early injury in her eventing career. ‘Kai came into my life about 5 or 6 years ago. He was 16yo, pure arab and pure white and knees that had obviously had a major trauma to them in the past, but he moved okay and was only doing light work. Then I started using him for teaching and over time the work load gradually increased. He was one of my most reliable schoolmasters. He was still moving okay but the knees were very slowly getting stiffer.
Two years ago, whilst Kai was having his summer holidays, his hocks and hind fetlocks blew out. The bursars in the hind joints had obviously been compensating for the knees all these years and had finally given way. One fetlock looked like it had a softball attached to it. He was lame. Very lame.
We tried him on every shot for arthritis and anti-inflammatories etc that the vet suggested. He went on this course of medication and then that one and then on another, then another and another. Nothing was working and after many months, I started to worry that we would never manage it. The lameness in horse had decreased a little but his joints were still swollen and horrible.
Then a friend mentioned she had heard of a product called Technyflex. I ordered some and started him on it but didn’t see a difference. A week or so later, an agistee of mine ordered some for her horse who had badly hurt his hock. Her order came with very descriptive details on dosages. I hadn’t been using enough. I increased his dosage to 3 scoops twice daily for the initial 10 days. The difference was almost immediate. By day 2 I was asking everybody,’ Is it just me, or is Kai looking a bit better?’
I don’t remember the time frame but Kai came back into work very soon after. That was 2 years ago and he is still going strong, even through winters. He is now 22.’
