What is Technyflex®?

Technyflex® is a natural anti-inflammatory supplement for joint repair and mobility especially for dogs, horses and cats.

What is Technyflex® powder made from?

Technyflex® is 100% uniquely dried Greenlipped mussel powder. We use all of the mussel’s meat – none of the shell.

What is the difference between Technyflex® & other Greenlipped Mussel extracts?

Technyflex® contains all of the nutrients of the mussel. Whereas extracts use only the oil part of a mussel. This is called a lipid.
FACT: Most lipids are omega 3s (free fatty acids)
FACT: Technyflex® has lipids present. Technyflex® has demonstrated a wider range of Omegas and are Essential Fatty acids – Essential, meaning essential for the body.
FACT: Technyflex® has more nutritional value than lipids & consists of Glycosaminoglycans, Mucopolysaccharides (glucosamine & chondroitins) omega 3s, minerals & vitamins, a synergistic approach to joint health.

What is the difference between Technyflex® & other glucosamine & chondroitin products?

FACT: Glucosamine & chondroitin are key components in rebuilding cartilage & connective tissue.
Technyflex® contains glucosamines & chondroitins in the form of Mucopolysaccharides, that naturally occur in the product along with omega 3s, minerals & vitamins.
Glucosamine/chondroitin products contain ONLY glucosamine & chondroitin.

What is the difference between Technyflex® & other Greenlipped mussel powders?

Technyflex® is made using premium raw mussels that have the highest amount of nutrients possible, exclusively for the Nutraceutical Industry. Our unique drying and processing ensures that the full goodness is not lost or ruptured. Other mussel powders are generally freeze dried and may have previously been processed mussels & are therefore lacking in quality & nutrients (effectiveness).

What additives are in Technyflex®?

Nothing is added to Technyflex®. All of the components are naturally occurring 100% enriched NHNZ GLM powder.

Is Technyflex® suitable for all pets?

Technyflex® is not suitable for pets that are allergic to shellfish or seafood.

What is Arthritis and what causes it?

The word arthritis comes from the Greek arthron meaning “joint” and the Latin “itis” meaning “inflammation”. Arthritis affects the musculoskeletal system, specifically the joints. Arthritis is not a single disease – it is a term that covers over 100 medical conditions. Basically, arthritis is caused when one bone moves on another bone or a joint disease.

How do I know if my dog has arthritis or joint damage?

If your dog has any of the following symptoms, he or she may have joint issues:

- Difficulty getting up from lying down showing stiffness
- Reduced playful behavior
- Limping
- Walking more slowly
- Trouble jumping or climbing stairs
